Ο παγκοσμίου φήμης, δύτης, συγγραφέας, βραβευμένος με Emmy, φωτογράφος και εξερευνητής του National Geographic, Brian Skerry σε μια αποκλειστική παρουσίαση στην Αντίπαρο στις 11 Ιουλίου 2023!
Ο Brian, προσκεκλημένος του Έλληνα εξερευνητή του National Geographic Θοδωρή Αναγνωστόπουλου, μιλάει για την τελευταία του ταινία Secret of the Whales σε παραγωγή James Cameron, που μαγνητίζει τους θεατές σε όλο τον κόσμο με τις φαντασμαγορικές λήψεις δεκάδες μέτρα κάτω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας, προβάλλει φωτογραφίες και επιλεγμένα αποσπάσματα από την δημιουργία του ντοκιμαντέρ και απαντάει σε ερωτήσεις σχετικά με τις υπέροχες ιστορίες που έχει βιώσει καθώς και τα διδάγματά του από ένα πλούσιο έργο-ζωής 30 ετών στους ωκεανούς.
Η εκδήλωση συνδιοργανώνεται από το Δήμο Αντιπάρου, την Κοινωνική Επιχείρηση Εν Πλώ, τη SciCο και το Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF) και στοχεύει τόσο στην ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση των κατοίκων και επισκεπτών της Αντιπάρου για τον θαλάσσιο πλούτο των Κυκλάδων και του Αιγαίου όσο και στην ανάδειξη δράσεων για την προστασία του.

A: “The fascinating world of whales and other underwater stories” by Brian Skerry comes to life in Antiparos.
The world-renowned diver, author, Emmy award winner, photographer, and National Geographic explorer, Brian Skerry in an exclusive presentation in Antiparos on July 11, 2023!
Brian, invited by Greek National Geographic explorer Theodore Anagnostopoulos, will talk about his latest film, “Secret of the Whales,” produced by James Cameron, which captivates audiences worldwide with its breathtaking footage taken tens of meters below the ocean’s surface. The event will showcase photographs and selected excerpts from the documentary, and Brian will answer questions regarding the incredible stories he has experienced and the lessons learned from his rich 30-year body of work in the oceans.
The event is co-organized by the Municipality of Antiparos, the Social Enterprise En Plo, SciCo, and the Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF), aiming to inform and raise awareness among the residents and visitors of Antiparos about the marine wealth of the Cyclades and the Aegean Sea, as well as promote actions for its protection.
