CV
Anastasios Faroupos was born in Antiparos in 1965.
STUDIES
He graduated from the high school of Paros. He then attended the School of Management and Economics (accounting department) of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Herakleion, where he graduated in 1987. Then, in 1990, he attended a 200-hour training seminar on “Modern accounting organization for the media” at the Athens Innovation Centre.
From 1991 to 2009, he participated in training seminars at the National School of Public Administration, on tax issues by the Panhellenic Association of Accountants and the Panhellenic Federation of Accountants, as well as in workshops at the School of Employees of the Ministry of Economics.
He has excellent knowledge of English (TOEIC certificate) and is familiar with computer programs and the internet.
CAREER
From March 1993 until September 2005 he was the owner of a tax office, and from 1/1/200 until 31/12/2003 he was the financial director of the Community Enterprise of Antiparos.
Ηe has been an employee of the Ministry of Finance since October 2005.
He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, he has a license to sign balance sheets and profit and loss accounts and a Class A tax accountant’s license.
